AAIB not only leads a reputation as one of Egypt’s most trusted financial groups, but also takes part in major social development.
In 2012, AAIB was notably rewarded by Arabia CSR Network for being the first bank in Egypt and the region to establish its own Foundation for Social Development in Health and Education: We Owe It to Egypt.
AAIB has, since January 2007, taken an oath of committing to its corporate social responsibility program through We Owe It to Egypt. With enduring success, it continues to carry the mission of tackling significant civic issues by promoting education and improving health-care.
With that, AAIB enriches its foundation with high standards of trained efforts and expertise. Alongside, it handles the foundation’s operative and administrative costs, while directing full contributions towards its ongoing CSR projects.
We Owe It to Egypt proudly took the initiative with the Cairo University Specialized Pediatrics Hospital (CUSPH) in 2004 and delivered the following:
• Renovated the hospital with first-rate quality infrastructure
• Elevated the hospital with modern health-care services
• Granted Human Resources development opportunities
